Travelsoft has experience in dozens of tour operating projects for producers and distributors.
In 2005, Travelsoft launched a new generation distribution platform aimed at connecting producers and distributors.

Multi channel access

The Tour Cameleo solution was designed to enable consultation and reservation online for all channels of a distributor, and in particular channels aimed at travellers, those used by travel agents, but also indirect distribution channels.
The management of all distribution channels, users, their roles as well as the travel policy of each channel is carried out in the Tour Cameleo administration tool.

Significant administrative flexibility

Tour Cameleo provides distributors with significant administrative flexibility of their system. The unified catalogue may be fully administered as can front office.
This reservation process also benefits from extended administration. Sales processes as well as margins can be administered.

The product catalogue can be administered:

• Product segmentation
• Choice of products published
• Choice of departure towns and times
• Management of editorial content
• Specific criteria by distribution channel
• Highlighting a selection of products
• Configuration of automated exports of products towards partners

A unified reservation process

The multi channel reservation process integrates all product specificities, whether in terms of reservation methods or options.
The reservation process can be configured by distribution channel, and thus reflects the sales policy of the merchant.

• Insurance can be configured
• Payment methods, delivery costs, payment costs and methods can be configured by distribution channel
• Discount codes can be managed dynamically

A file containing all elements of the reservation is sent to the back office system.

Traveller's service

Tour Cameleo allows for the provision of an extremely high quality service to travellers in that reservations are confirmed in real time.
Upstream, the catalogue contains content, rates and availability, updated regularly. All promotions are also available within the catalogue.

Updates are carried out on the basis of four versions a year. Versions thus meet the needs expressed by the clients of TourCameleo.

Each major version includes functional developments relating to:

• the administration tool
• the reservation process
• as well as an increase in the number of producers

TO-distributor inter-connection platform:
The Tour Cameleo solution is used in the framework of the Orchestra platform.

In May 2009, Tour Cameleo finalised its version 6.2.
